About Us
Artstalgia originally started with the release of the timeless images of the Daniel Napoli Collection, a collection of nostalgic prints from the 1920's to the 1950's. The photography of Daniel Napoli is a rare treat for those who wish to see first hand what life was like during one of the most important periods of American history.
Daniel was born in Manhattan in 1888, and he developed a love affair with the camera that spanned his lifetime. With his camera he captured the everyday life of a bygone era. Those who experienced New York City during this period will find a nostalgic trip "home" within the Napoli Collection images. Daniel passed away in 1971, but the moments he captured on film have an enduring and timeless presence to this day, giving all who see them the opportunity to step back in time and to see the people who gave New York City its heart.

Some Moments are meant to last forever...
Discovered only after Daniel's death, his New York Collection was made available to the public at the urging of dedicated experts in the photographic art field. Artstalgia's parent company, Knap Prints, Inc. was born so that everyone could have the opportunity to enjoy what this talented man did with his love of New York. All reproductions are originals made from the Daniel Napoli's own negatives, not lithographs. All the images reflect old New York City, New York State, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and the surrounding areas from the 1920's to the 1950's. Nostalgic, one of a kind collectible photos of a by-gone era. Prints are available in black & white or sepia toned, framed or unframed.

Vintage Offerings:
Artstalgia is now also offering vintage sheet music covers faithfully reprinted with the archival quality Giclee process (see below). We are excited about offering the art of Thomas Kinkade and George Thompson, greeting cards, tile art, watches, and becoming the home of The Great Parker.

Paper:
Premium Archival Matte Paper is a 230 gsm, 9.5-mil, heavy weight, neutral white, matte paper engineered for accurate color reproduction that provides high contrast and high resolution output. This paper is acid-free making it the perfect choice for photo reproductions.

Giclee Prints:
The prints made by our Print & Frame shop are Giclee (pronounced "gee-clay") prints. Giclee prints are created from high-resolution digital images, using the best quality ink and paper stock available. This process results in color resolution that far exceeds any other type of image printing. The Giclee prints are generated on a pair of 8-color Epson 9600 ink jet printers. These printers are able to produce amazingly detailed prints of both works of fine art and photographs. For our printing jobs we exclusively use Epson Ultrachrome ink, which is of archival quality. This guarantees you a long-lasting museum quality work of art.

Professional Framing & Finishing:
We professionally frame, mat (if selected), and mount your image, allowing you to hang your art as soon as it arrives! This service includes:
- Acid-free foam core backing
- Clear acrylic UV-resistant 1/8th inch glazing
- Acid-free mats
- Dust covers (not included with metal frames)
- Wall savers
- Screws and wire
Please be aware that the cost of this process is proportionally related to the size of your image.
